Recap meetup: Mobile Architecture happily married to UX Design

recap, meetup, itdevcafe ...

On March 20 a very special wedding took place, it was time for the meetup: Mobile Architecture happily married to UX Design. Jan Trutzschler and Andreas van der Griendt told us more about the importance of developers working together in teams to combine different disciplines. But first it was time for hamburgers and beer.

Jan was excited to take the stage. He told the audience about his vision of UX design. He has a German background en shared some interesting thoughts about how he has integrated the Bauhaus style in his UX Design. Furthermore he told us how you can implement UX design in the best way and why this is so important.

After a short break, it was time for the second presentation. Andreas is a great supporter of working in feature teams, in which backend, frontend and design work closely together to realize features that matter. He told us which mindset, communication and skills are needed to make working in a team a great success. Dealing with different disciplines can also mean different interests during the process. However in the end, everyone in the feature team has the same goal and when everyone realizes that, it will succeed eventually. The slides of this presentation can be downloaded at the bottom of the page.

It was an interesting evening with lots of room for thought and discussion. Did you miss it? That’s a shame. Well, luckily for you, we regularly host (online) meetups on all things IT Dev. Be a part of our Meetup Community by clicking here, and look at our Events Calendar!
