Java Full Stack Developer
This vacancy is written for one of the biggest banks in the Netherlands. Within the housing department, you will work in the mortgage area. You will help one of the squads building microservices and Java / Java EE Applications and provide the best service for the bank's customers.
Role description
Working alongside your squad, you will take charge of modifying and overseeing Java solutions using cutting-edge technologies. This calls for a distinctive and demanding mindset, as well as the capacity and enthusiasm to assume responsibility for the entire development cycle, starting from requirements and extending through the (continuous) delivery pipeline, all the way to successful deployment in the production environment.
Your role goes beyond just meeting business requirements; it also encompasses addressing operational and continuous delivery considerations, such as security, maintainability, and test automation. As one of the developers within your squad, you are well-versed in taking the lead, offering constructive feedback, and persistently seeking the most optimal solutions.

- University level education;
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in software development;
- Extended experience in Java and its ecosystem preferably Java 8 or higher;
- Extended experience working as a full-stack developer;
- Proficiency with fundamental frontend languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (Angular / React);
- Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery for Cloud environments (preferably with Azure);
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle including design, configuration, testing, debugging, implementation, and support of large-scale, business-centric, and process-based applications.
- A yearly salary up to €105.000,- euro gross per year including benefits;
- The salary package will be based on your experience;
- a budget of € 750- to set up your home working space and a monthly home working allowance of up to € 40-
- a personal development budget of € 1,400-
- 100% reimbursement of commuting costs if you travel by public transport
- a pension scheme to which you contribute 3.5% or 5.5%
