Position Overview: As a Software Engineer in our Point of Sale (POS) Payments team, you will collaborate with a dynamic group of 9 professionals, including QA engineers, Product Owner, Back- and Frontend Developers. Your mission is to enhance our payment platform, making it more maintainable and scalable, while delivering key features that empower our customers' growth.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a cross-functional SCRUM team.
- Triage and resolve reported bugs.
- Refactor older application components to improve maintainability.
- Contribute to the evolution of our platform architecture.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or similar.
- 5+ years of Java Virtual Machine (JVM) stack experience (Java 11+, Kotlin).
- Familiarity with frameworks like Quarkus and Springboot.
- Proficiency in Containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Competence in using Gradle and Git for software development and testing.
